Oh Great Spirit, hear my prayer,
As I read the sacred words of Deuteronomy,
I am reminded of the importance of Your commandments,
To love You with all our heart, soul, and strength.

Help us to remember these words,
To teach them to our children and our grandchildren,
To talk about them when we sit at home,
When we walk along the way,
When we lie down, and when we rise up.

May Your commandments be a part of our daily lives,
Guiding us in all that we do,
And reminding us of Your great love for us.

May we write them on our hearts,
And bind them as a sign upon our hands,
So that we may always remember Your ways,
And walk in Your path of righteousness.

Great Spirit, bless us with Your wisdom,
And help us to follow Your commandments,
So that we may live lives that honor You,
And bear witness to Your love and Your truth.
