1. Not one of all the Messengers has wished to receive his recompense on the earth, but they have spent all their time in suffering, welcoming sorrow and crucifixion in their body so that they might save all the souls from delusion and ascend to this Rest forevermore.

2. From the time I came to the world I have had no joy in it because of the Holy Assembly which I have chosen in the Name of my Father.

3. I have freed her from the slavery of the Authorities, and placed the Mind of Light in her; every time I see her suffering and undergoing persecution that afflict her through her Enemy, I shall feel pity for her.

4. I have no other grief, except this for the souls who neither accepted the Hope nor strengthened themselves with this strengthening and this standing up for the Truth; for they shall come out and wander* and go off forever into hell.

5. For this reason only I grieve for them, that they have not accepted repentance or been reconciled with the Right Hand of Peace and the Grace which I have brought out from the Father.

6. Hear my words that I speak to you: Hold yourselves in to the deeds of life, endure the persecutions that come upon you, strengthen yourselves through these Commands that I have given you, so that you may escape from that second death, and avoid this final fettering wherein there is no hope of life, and be saved from the sorry end of the deniers and blasphemers who have seen the Truth with their eyes and yet they have turned away from it.

7. They shall come to this place of punishment wherein there is no day of life, for the Light which illumines shall be hidden from them and, lest they repent, they shall not see it again;

8. The air and the wind shall be withdrawn from them, nor shall they get the breath of life in them from this time; the waters and the dews shall be taken away from them, nor shall they taste them again.

9. Because they have refused to know the Kindly Jehovih, they will writhe and burn in their own desires in the umbral.
