1. Now when the man washes in the flowing water or something else he stands up; likewise when he prays he turns toward the greater Luminary, also standing.
2. Now as for the first prayer, it is at sunrise, and the second prayer between noon and sunset, and the night prayer three hours after that.
3. He who recites a psalm is like those who weave a beautiful garland, while those who answer after him are like those who put roses in his hands.
4. For this reason let us pray, let us sing and recite together, let us set before us joy, the sign of Jehovih, and let us do away with grief, which is the sign of the Darkness!
