Chapter 41

1. The Remnant is itself likened to the divine beings, similar in image by their speech and actions to the highest-ranking angels; the divine spirit also that has come down in them from on high has dwelt in them, and so they have fulfilled the Will of the Great Spirit.

2. A spirit of holiness has been placed upon the Remnant; therefore you find them standing on the earth while in their hearts arises, coming up to Jehovih the Father of Truth.
*(An apt description of the Remnant no matter what their degree or appointment is)

3. Again, each one descends by means of his insight and his meditation and goes down to the world of darkness from which the darkness erupted; his heart runs and welcomes all things.

4. The Good and the evil dwell in every human being; the members of the Remnant carry a great burden on their shoulders for they stand in the body which is not their own since the Old Man dwells in their body also; not being completely free from sin, for they, not yet reaching full purification from the material body, share in the restrictions as do all men in the physical body.

5. At the time when you see them* quarrelling and angry of heart, do not doubt them or despise them, or withdraw from them.
*(This verse shows us how we should view the shortcomings of our brethren among the Remnant. Since the Remnant who still work in the physical world are not perfect as of yet, they experience the same problems and frustrations that others do.)

6. See, although those who are not members of the Remnant abide in many sins; the Remnant is always ready to assist you and one another.

7. Yet they do not dishonour you or hate you, nor do they withdraw from you or hate you or even say: “So long as he sins in this way I shall not be a teacher to him.”

8. Understand that they welcome you lovingly and gently; they speak with you with the words of Jehovih, instructing you; they say to you: “You are our brother, you are our kinsman who shall journey with us to the Land of Light!”

9. Look, then; see how great their love and compassion is for you, they bear for you as a brother.

10. As the eye is beloved to the foot and the hand is to the mouth, so also and in the same degree is the Remnant beloved to all the teachable amongst mankind.

11. Now at the time when the Divine Messenger and his divine hosts leave the uzians and enter the upper heavens, he shall gather to that place a portion of the Remnant which he has chosen, and indeed shall eventually draw all of them to himself: he shall not leave one of them in the Darkness at the very moment of his coming forth from the body.

12. This is why he says to us: “Let everyone who loves me love all of my children, the blessed Remnant, because I am with them.”

13. Why? Because the words of Jehovih are within each of them; therefore the presence of the Great Spirit dwells in all of them and He walks with them by means of their alms; and by their alms, they shall conquer the darkness.
